Journey with me as I breakdown this framework to achieve one of my Goals that coincides with my theme for 2020, "Owning It!" 2020 The Year of Confidence is to lose 20lbs and maintain that weight.
G/ Growth How will I grow to achieve this goal?
Set a schedule that I can stick to
Looking at three days minimum/ 15 min to 1 plus hours a day
Too easy, right? No, it's not… I'll figure out how to talk my self out of it, Janina from RebelJ Fitness says to live like you want to live in the future. If I was at my goal weight, what would I do to maintain it/preserve my hard work? Workout! So, I will do that today, act as if I am that weight. Doable. And this will definitely help with my confidence. Win! Win!
I will do the kind of workouts I love
Yoga, Kickboxing, Jacob's Ladder, Elliptical, Hiit workouts I have tons of video to use, so I do not even have to leave the house
I will eat healthier/make intentional choices to feel and look good
Not diet- make better meal choices/ Portion control
I have been doing well with the workouts; I walk to and from work Mon-Fri… it's about a 30-minute walk when I'm not daydreaming but could be as long as 45 minutes.
I Intermittent Fast, M-F (I talk more about this at L2/Learning
Wake at 8 a.m.
Have a coffee at 10 a.m.
Eat at 2 p.m.
Snack at 4 p.m.
Stop eating by 630 p.m.
Repeat
Since growing in my achievements, I have lost 5lbs, no weight gain, and continuously lose inches weekly. I have been intentional in this process for one month, and I am so proud. As I implement the ideal from RebelJ Fitness, I know that I'll be where I want to be in no time. And the confidence I build from achieving this goal, I know I will be successful in reaching all the goals I set for 2020 and beyond. If you live intentionally with a purpose, you can accomplish anything.
